Christina was doomed to be an artist, from picking up crayons as a toddler to a guitar at the age of 9, and collecting countless creative tools and mediums since then. Christina’s creative interests stretch beyond the realm of graphic design to sewing, fashion, shooting and developing film, attending shows, and overanalyzing album covers and food packaging. Music, an unwavering companion in Christina's life, serves as the rhythmic backdrop to the ordinary moments, influencing her creative endeavors and shaping her distinctive graphic design style. Her passion for music was sparked early on when she meticulously sifted through her parents' CD collection as a young tot, leaving an indelible imprint on her artistic sensibilities. In Christina's world, creativity is a vibrant and ever-evolving expression of her soul, a symphony of colours, sounds, and textures that she weaves into the fabric of her unique artistic narrative.
Residing on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm Nation in “Vancouver,” BC, Christina is a graphic designer crafting solutions across branding, packaging, illustration, social media, and editorial layouts. Her passion is prominently evident in projects for music, events, food and beverage industries, ranging from album covers, promotional and event posters, menus, and packaging.
Experience
Prior to moving into the design world, Christina obtained a BA in Sociology with a minor in Business from the University of Victoria (UVic). Following her BA, she transitioned into design, earning a honours certificate in Communication Design in dual program from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design (ECUAD) and the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). Christina’s educational background provides her with a unique insight into design trends, the wants and needs of the client, as well as an acute understanding on the marketing and business side of design. Since graduation, she has worked on projects spanning a variety of industries, including parks and recreation, music, theatre, broadcasting and print media, and the food and beverage sector.
